First International Bank & Trust is seeking a talented and self-motivated Mortgage Loan Officer in our Arizona market. We have locations in Gilbert, Phoenix and Scottsdale to better serve our customers. Our Mortgage Loan Officers are responsible for helping customers achieve their mortgage financing goals. As a community bank our Mortgage Loan Officers are ambassadors for First International Bank & Trust in the communities we serve.
The main focus of our Mortgage Loan Officers is:
+ Meeting with prospects or clients to discuss how FIBT-s mortgage products can help them achieve their mortgage financing goals.
+ Depending on needs of the prospect, preparing a mortgage product best suited to the needs of the client eg. conventional, FHA, VA, construction, and adjustable rate mortgage.
+ Receiving formal application for a mortgage from the client. Assisting clients with completing technical details of the application.
+ Reviewing completed mortgage application for accuracy and thoroughness and requesting additional information if necessary.
+ Reviewing completed information in application file and comparing to the lending institution's requirements. May grant or reject the mortgage application.
+ Developing a strong referral network in the banking community, with builders, CPAs, attorneys, real estate agents and other business professionals in the area, and in the community.
+ May visit homes of clients wishing to refinance a mortgage or may view site of prospective real estate purchase.
+ Monitors interest rate fluctuations to provide most attractive terms to present clients and prospects.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
