PLEASE HELP!! I ONLY HAVE UNTIL FRIDAY TO FIND A PLACE. IF I DONT, I WILL BE HOMELESS. PLEASE, PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ ABOUT AND CONSIDER MY HOUSING VOUCHER. IT IS NOT-NOT-NOT SECTION 8-----ITS BETTER. YOU CAN VERIFY EVERYTHING IN FACT I RECOMMEND IT.
HERE'S WHAT I HAVE AND HOW IT WORKS:

RENTAL:
**$757.00 per month is my allotment
**rental amount must have all utilities included and tax
**must be a 1 bedroom. it can be a 2 bedroom so long as the bedroom door is removed from
the 2nd rm and its listed as a den, which is fine
**prefer washer/dryer or hook ups as I do not drive, but its not mandatory
**prefer a yard of some kind, but not a deal breaker
**must be a 12 month lease (I was at my former rental with my voucher for 7 years)
**not section 8-they only go by their guidelines, but yes there is a small amount of
paperwork involved
**rent is always sent out on the 25th to be sure it arrives at or before the 1st.
direct deposit is also available
**need east phoenix/west tempe. anywhere from say 7th st and camelback over to
washington and anywhere east of that into west tempe such as the curry road area.I AM
FLEXIBLE ON THAT!!
**I NEED A PLACE BY FRIDAY!!!
**THIS IS NOT SECTION 8 IT IS PRIVATELY FUNDED AND HAS MINIMAL GOVT FUNDS

My voucher is through ABC Housing and the funds are managed by Biltmore Properties here in Phoenix. This is an SMI housing program that helps keep those with SMI out of homelessness. Each participant has a case worker that does regular home visits to check up on the participant and inspect their home to be sure they are living well, have food, etc. Many are diagnosed SMI for a variety of reasons. It doesn't mean they are "crazy" at all....the title has many definitions. Because I am not yet receiving disability payments, I qualify for 100% payment which is $757.00 per month to cover rent, all utilities and tax. Once I start to get my disability income, I will then be responsible for 30% of my rent and all of my utilities and the program picks up the balance of the rent. They also pay my utility deposits to be assured they are turned on.

My History:
**was at my former rental for 7 years without incident
**I am 54 years of age, very responsible and take excellent care of where I live
**I have 2 emotional support animals-a little 4 lb chihuahua and a belgium melanois
that's 8 yrs old and to be honest, overweight and very, very mellow and I do have Dr's
letters for them
**I'm looking for long term. I have to have a 12 month lease, but like I said, I was at
my former place 7 yrs

The inspection can be done as early as the following day I view the property. I have all the paperwork necessary so there's no delay.
