USA max load bearings and the highest quality rebuild parts available on the market used in this transmission rebuild, it even has the correct "hooded" extension housing seal and 3-4 shift rail case expansion plug! This is correct numbers and date code for a 1972 Mustang with a 351HO or a 351CJ but it will also physically fit into any 1964-1/2 to 1973 mustang and 1967 - 73 Cougar with 289 302 351W (Windsor) 351C (Cleaveland) and 351M or 400M (Modified) with no alterations to the trans. It can be retro-fitted to a FE 390 by trimming the front input pilot bearing tip to fit either car or truck bell housings and using and aftermarket shifter mount adapter if needed. The clutch teeth are sharp on the original "no rock" synchronizer sliders (new keys and springs installed) for firm shifts and no grinding or jumping out of gears! Also the reverse and 1-2 slider gear teeth are mint with no chips on the teeth. The speedo gear is a correct black 7 tooth C4DZ-17285-A and will work with 2.79 - 3.50 rearend gear ratios. This transmission requires GL4 gear oil and I recommend Pennzoil Synchromesh manual transmission fluid.
