Job DescriptionCPES is an employee owned human services organization that has been serving individuals with a Developmental Disability or a Serious Mental illness for over 37 years. The right candidate will have verifiable experience, great interpersonal skills and the ability to work with everyone from the end user to the designer. This is a fast paced and results driven position that will require focus and innovative thinking and problem solving.Below are knowledge, skills and abilities required:Broad knowledge of information technology systems, concepts and methodologies.Significant knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange Server environments (windows configuration, installation, maintenance, support and troubleshooting); networks supporting VOIP telephony; VMware; Cisco IOS; Windows Exchange; Office 365 Administration; SharePoint and enterprise software applications such as financial, human resources, and medical billing applications.Significant knowledge of firewalls, routers, network switches, wireless access points, computers, servers and other computer related hardware as outlined in the minimum qualifications section of this job description.Solid knowledge of backup software, disaster recovery principles and business continuity best practices.Knowledge of the principles and practices of end user support methodologies and tools.Knowledge of current network security practices and protocols; troubleshooting protocols and network environment design.Knowledge of best practices for software testing and installation.Knowledge of HIPAA privacy practices and requirements.Knowledge of the procurement process.Ability to read, analyze and interpret periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.Ability to exercise significant patience and diligence when establishing rapport with users who may be unfamiliar with the more technical aspects of their technology.Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to accomplish a high volume of competing work assignments and routine duties within established deadlines.Ability to respond appropriately and work effectively in highly stressful situations, including, but not limited to, dealing with angry or upset employees, accomplishing work within tight deadlines or working long hours, and/or communicating unpopular or complex policies or procedures.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally, and in writing, with all staff levels.Ability to travel away from the primary office location.
