Maintains information policies and procedures to support current and future data information needs and ensures proper data definitions, ownership, use and integrity of data. 2. Analyzes business user needs, documents information requirements, profiles the data, facilitates the identification of potential gaps in available data and collaborates with business areas to determine best means for acquiring the data needed. 3. Collaborates with IT resources on the creation and maintenance of the content of the data warehouse, establishes and maintains general knowledge of data warehouse data structure design, definitions, capabilities, SQL, and data integrity issues, supports data mapping, completes metadata assessment and reviews feedback to determine changes, ensures that data definitions are clear and current, and communicates changes to data definitions to all users. 4. Collaborates with IT resources and data owners to define business objectives and definitions for databases including business rules, sources, purge archive criteria, and reload schedule.*DATA WAREHOUSE ANALYST SR* Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: 1. Collaborates with IT resources and data owners to define business objectives and definitions for databases including business rules, sources, purge archive criteria, and reload schedule. *DATA WAREHOUSE ANALYST* * Bachelor's degree in related field. * 1-2 years experience in data analysis, data modeling, and working with automated data warehouse systems. * Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. *DATA WAREHOUSE ANALYST SR* * Requires Bachelor's degree in related field. * 2-4 years experience in data analysis, data modeling, and working with automated data warehouse systems. * Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. *DATA WAREHOUSE CONSULTANT* * Requires BA/BS in related field. * 6-8 years experience in data analysis, data modeling, and working with automated data warehouse systems. * Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. *QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL LEVELS* * Experience in Teradata SQL, SQL, SAS, Business Objects, OLAP, Agile Methodology, JIRA, Confluence and other Agile Tools, HADOOP/Data Fabric and Big Data environment and tools preferred. * Experience being a Product Owner in an Agile project preferred. * Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and planning and organizational skills required. * Demonstrated ability to lead and plan complex, large-scale projects required. * Excellent oral and written communication. * Must have experience working in a Teradata environment * Working in a virtual environment. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. * Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Healthcare data knowledge for all data types preferred. * Prefer knowledge/background in the following subject areas. * - Medical and Specialty Claims - Finance and Revenue - Membership and Eligibility - Product - Chart of Accounts - Provider - Capitation - Utilization Management - Case Management - Disease Management - Laboratory Results - Health and Wellness Data/Survey * - BrokerThis position will be hired into the Data Warehouse job family and the level will be determined based on the experience of the candidate selected. */Anthem, Inc. is ranked as one of America?s Most Admired Companies among health insurers by Fortune magazine and is a 2016 DiversityInc magazine Top 50 Company for Diversity.
