PracticeMax is seeking an individual with technical know-how and excellent customer service skills for the Help Desk Support Specialist position in our Phoenix office. The ideal candidate has the ability to triage many requests at once, while providing superior customer service to the staff and clients of PracticeMax. The Help Desk Support Specialist is the first point of contact for users seeking assistance with technical issues. The Help Desk Support Specialist responds to requests for support through our ticket system. This position requires excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work well with others.Primary Responsibilities Requests for support to include but not limited to:Hardware: desktops, printer, VOIP phones, and mobile devicesSoftware / Applications: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.), Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Healthcare related technologies and software platformsUser AccountsSystems and networking support: Windows Server and Desktop, Windows Remote Desktop Services / Terminal ServicesRespond to requests in a timely and professional mannerAccountable for tickets from original request through resolutionOther IT duties as neededSkills / QualificationsSelf-motivation to accept and complete tasksTroubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issuesUsage of help desk software for organization and tracking of support requestsEducation/Experience1+ years relevant work experienceExperience in the healthcare industry (preferred)AA, BS or relevant certifications (preferred) PracticeMax provides a comprehensive suite of business solutions that help healthcare providers maximize their operations and financial performance while delivering optimal patient care.
