SUMMARY:The primary responsibilities of this position are organizing and supervising the effort and tasks of technicians responsible for physical and mechanical activities, telecommunication infrastructure work, integration and commissioning of hardware/software systems; as well as, cabinet maintenance and upgrades. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects managementA?s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. A: Ability to follow all state and federal safety regulations (OSHA, local turfing vendor, etc.) while working in an efficient and productive manner. A: Supervises the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning and integration of wireless radio access nodes. A: Supervises telecom integration work within and around the cell site cabinet to ensure optimum network quality for our customers. A: Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. A: Schedules and coordinates integration and commissioning support and service operations. A: Create and maintain project databases as needed A: Provide comprehensive and accurate reporting of all project activities A: Ensure all closeout data has been compiled, reviewed and submitted in a timely manner A: Leads and directs other technicians and interacts with customerA?s technical staff as well as SAC cross:functional teams A: Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A: Leads and directs the work of others and possesses a wide degree of creativity and latitude as expected to lead a team of technicians. A: Interprets various documents (e.g. blueprints, diagrams, manufacturer specifications, etc.) to ensure MOPs are implemented properly. A: A willingness to travel and/or work outdoors in all weather conditions when required. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: A: Valid DriverA?s License A: High School Graduate A: Five or more years of experience in supervising telecom installers or integrators A: Five or more years of experience in wireless industry A: First Aid Training/CPR preferred A: OSHA 10 Certification preferred A: Experience integrating and troubleshooting cabinets and rack mounted equipment Understands basic knowledge of Antennae and RF radio configuration at cell sites. A: Certifications UMTS, LTE, WCDMA, GSM or similar. A: Ability to read and interpret technical construction drawings. A: Excellent decision making and problem solving skills. A: Cell site installation experience is preferred. A: Understands basic electrical concepts and safe connection methods A: LTE and CDMA experience A: Flexibility in working hours and travel.
