Amazon is seeking a Process Improvement expert to join our NACF Network Operations Center (NOC)A?s Operational Excellence team::a team of problem:solvers dedicated to Continuous Improvement focused on our Inbound Fulfillment Operations. This PM will work with people at all:levels in our wide and growing network of state:of:the:art fulfillment centers. The Process Improvement Program Manager will be a key component of the team and possess significant expertise in Analytical Problem Solving using such techniques as Six Sigma statistical analysis, DMAIC, network optimization, statistical hypothesis testing, simulation, queueing analysis, with deep knowledge of Operations Management in Distribution Centers, Lean, and end:to:end Supply Chain Management. Primary Responsibilities You will participate in and lead focused and strategically critical projects across North America in InBound areas of the business as required to support the NAFC network. You will study, learn, and diagnose NOC and Amazon FC operational processes, identify root causes and improvement opportunities, prescribe improvement strategies and guide the improvement effort. BachelorA?s Degree required in an applicable discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Supply Chain, Logistics, etc.)5+ yearsA? experience with process improvement methodologies and proven results5+ yearsA? experience with quantitative focus areas such as Statistics, BI, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Machine Learning, or related field.Strong change management and influencing skills; ability to negotiate and communicate across all levels of the organization, with proven track record of success with analytical problem solving methodologies and programs.Significant experience with Data Analysis along with Knowledge of Analytical Problem solving methods and tools including Statistical Hypothesis testing, Optimization heuristics, DMAIC, Six Sigma, Lean, Simulation, Queueing Analysis, etc.Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective written and verbal communicationKnowledge of distribution center/fulfillment operations and processesDemonstrated knowledge of key business financial metricsExperience using advanced Excel, Access, SQL, JMP or Minitab, SAS, SPSS, R, etc.Advanced Degree from an accredited universityDemonstrated ability to make courageous recommendations and decisions to drive significant organizational changeProficiency and experience with graph database highly desiredExcellent presentation skills, dynamic approach with the ability to translate theory into practical applicationSelf:starter and independent thinkerPassionate about the customer, whose experience with Amazon depends on us Amazon is an Equal Opportunity:Affirmative Action Employer : Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation
