We are back! We all had a great time. In the course of our Holy Land Trip we traveled 16,420 Miles ... 15,680 by Airplane, 699 by Bus, .50 by Cable Car, and 40 on Foot. And, in the process we journeyed through some of the most sacred soil on earth. Six of the seven of us shared our experiences this past Wednesday, Ranae, due to Choir Rehearsal did not, so I have asked her to share a bit Sunday Morning. It should be interesting. In this picture below, our group was standing on First Century stone in front of a City Gate, now closed up, that Jesus would have used to go to the temple. In other words, our feet are standing where Jesus feet once stood. That is pretty awesome!!! This Sunday, April 13 at 10:30 AM, I will bring a Palm Sunday Message entitled, "Whose Kingdom Are You Looking For?" As you will learn, tradition suggests, that Jesus Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem that day, was not the only one. There was another very different processional. Join us Sunday to find out more about the two processionals that day. Thank you to Pastor Jeremy Mack and Pastor Earl Ostrom for taking my place on the two Sundays we were gone, and to Rev. George Branscom for taking my place on Wednesday.
