The Rapid Recovery Center (RRC) model is built to provide effective and efficient care in the ideal healing environment, and the business office manager is a vital part of that innovative model.As the business office manager, youA?ll be responsible for supporting and leading all business:related functions at your facility, including billing, payroll, accounts payable, monthly reporting and purchasing. Many of the patients will be using Medicare, so youA?ll have to work with Medicare, insurance, private pay, and collections.Every single member of the RRC team works together to help people recover from major medical events and get back to their lives. As the business office manager, you play a key role in making sure that this happens, and can be proud of what you do. Overall Responsibilities:Responsible for the billing and collection of private pay, insurance and Medicare accountsComplete month:end closing and review monthly financial statementsProvide support to leadership team on capital projectsMaintain specific processes for the collection and maintenance of patient data, which includes patient statement accuracy, confirming billing accuracy and patient demographic informationCoordinate with Medicare agencies and clinical staff to ensure billing is submitted accuratelyAssist the Administrator with managing RRC operations by utilizing independent judgment and discretion to review and advise on billing issues, expenditures and budgetary matters for the facilityManage and direct all accounts receivable, to include pursuit and follow:up of unpaid balancesEnsure correct coding of accounts payable and accrue expenses as neededProcess accounts payableResponsible for accrual preparation and analysis of general ledger and monthly operating statementsServe as RRC manager:on:duty on a regular basisManage on:site employee data related to, among other things, demographics, payroll, employee benefits and employee leave administrationEnsure employee files are maintained in accordance with policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local regulationsManage supply/inventory management and purchasingBachelorA?s degree in Business is preferred; AssociateA?s degree in Business or Finance is requiredPrevious experience working in a Business Office Management role in long term care is highly desiredWorking knowledge of general accounting, billing and collections and expense management practicesA strong knowledge of billing and general accounts receivable systems is criticalAble to perform budget analysis and variance reportingWorking knowledge of federal and state employment lawsStrong knowledge of Medicare and insurance reporting and guidelinesStrong communication skills and ability to work with a variety of backgrounds is requiredExperience with supply management and purchasing is desiredMainstreet Health is a division of Mainstreet, the nationA?s premier developer of transitional care properties.
