Arizona Catering seeking Executive Chef

Candidate needs to share the company vision with the ultimate goal of ensuring that high quality culinary dishes are being served on an efficient schedule while boosting overall profitability. Candidate needs to be able to identify any problems that arise in the kitchen as well as resolve them quickly while maintaining a level head with strong strategic leadership skills. This is a full time position with 40% travel.

Candidate is primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a kitchen but responsibilities also include:
- Maximizing the productivity of kitchen staff while managing food costs

- Ensuring the freshness of food

- Coordinating the kitchen schedule

- Developing new recipes, planning menus, determining the best presentation of food, ensuring quality of each meal,

- Inspecting kitchen equipment for cleanliness, and monitoring sanitation policies

- Maintaining an inventory of food supplies, doing food purchasing and ordering

- Hiring or training kitchen staff
