The QA Technician will assist in various QA functions including, data entry, preparing and maintaining quality controlled documents pertaining to policies, standard operating procedures (SOP), forms, specifications, and other QA documentation, as needed. This role is intended to maintain accurate and up:to:date files in a secure manner that provides ease of accessibility. Maintain Quality Assurance controlled log and tracking books for document change control, certificates of analyses, technical reports and test methods, investigation and variances. Filing of data, reports, calibration and training records, assembly of record binders and supportive role in client and regulatory audits. Route and follow up on document and label change requests; assign numbers to documents, track/route for appropriate signatures, and close/process documents. Act as QA point of contact to communicate information, answer questions, and respond to internal and external customers and manufacturers. Manage a standardized document infrastructure for assigned third party manufacturers (3PM) accounts and assist with 3PM account training.Track projects and provide status regularly to Supervisor and team.Work with internal cross:functional areas, such as Procurement, Inventory Control, Product Development, Regulatory, and Logistics to mitigate quality risks. Assist in product qualifications, organoleptic evaluations, and release sample evaluations as needed.Assist in the retain samples program with sample receipt, track, log, etc.Process data collections, entries, and statistical evaluations.Perform internal audits and identify opportunities for improvement and solutions.Work with the release of products and other R and D teams with shelf:life study samples and taste testing.AssociateA?s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent quality assurance experience.Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and able to coordinate/manage multiple tasks simultaneously.No dietary restrictions or allergies.Must be a non:tobacco user and will not use tobacco products on or off the job during the tenure of employment in Quality Assurance, as it may affect taste accuracy testing.Course of study in science, chemistry, biology, physical sciences or applied sciences.Professional experience working with cGMP, quality assurance or FDA regulations. Previous QA Document Control experience.
