The Regional Director of Operations directs operations of multiple communities in a specified region through supervision of Executive Directors and aids the DVP and SVP of Operations in formulating and administering organization policies. This positions:Oversees the management of each assigned Community to assure that it is operating within the state regulatory guidelines and meets Elmcroft StandardsConducts a thorough standards compliance review for each community quarterlyReviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine CommunityA?s progress toward stated goals and objectives. Submits weekly operations report to SVP of municates with Executive Directors on Community issues. Provides appropriate feedback and corrective action as needed.Makes regular site visits to each Community; not less than quarterly. Performs walk:through of building and grounds to assure that the building presents in the best light possible and to interact with residents, staff, and visitors to promote customer satisfaction. Prepares timely site visit documentation and priority observations/recommendations within three (3) working days of site visit.Serve as liaison for the Support Center with Residents, Families and Elmcroft staff. Attends at least 2 family nights, 3 staff meetings and 4 resident council meetings yearly per assigned community.Review operational reports and respond as needed.Participate in yearly budget preparation for assigned Communities.Personally supervise and evaluate performance of Executive Directors of assigned Communities on a quarterly basis and ensure that the Executive Director is timely and effectively delivering performance reviews for all other community personnel.Provides assigned management reports to keep the Senior Vice President of Operations informed of pending issues. Notify SVP of Operations of any potential liability to Elmcroft immediately.Cooperates with other top management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals.Assists with transition of all Elmcroft acquired/managed communities.Participates in career building seminars specific to the assisted living industry to enhance personal knowledge for improved work performance results.Performs other duties as assigned and which relate to the success of Elmcroft Senior Living and the Care, Comfort, and Happiness of our residents.
