If a piano and a guitar are out of tune they will sound bad no matter how good the musicians playing them are. Drum sets are the same way yet most drummers play with their sets completely out of tune, even when playing in public!! Proper tuning of your drum set is essential to achieving great sound. Does your bass drum always boom too much forcing you to put a pillow in it to dampen it? Do your toms always seem to have too much “over-ring”, always sound too flat with no life to them, or just never seem to be in tune with each other? Does your snare drum sound too "tinny" and do the wires always seem to “buzz” too much every time you hit your bass or toms? Any of these conditions will make your set sound bad regardless of how good a player you are.

I will tune your whole set and teach you how to tune it too so you will know how to always keep your set sounding great. You invested good money in your drum set so shouldn't you invest a small amount to get them sounding their best and learn how to make sure you can always keep them sounding their best? Call Jim at 623-326-9207 and let’s give your drums that well deserved tune up that will make them sound so good you will want to play them every chance you get!

Persistence is a great advantage to any songwriter who wants to multiply his or her success—because most other people have given up on their innate ability to persist on a given course.

Successful creative people assume that their future achievements rely on investing in actions that may not pay off today but that when taken consistently and persistently over time will sooner or later bear fruit.

Habitually commit. Commitment is one of the things that there is a shortage of.

Put your attention on your music. You get what you put your attention on.

Answer this question: how does one become successful as a pro musician? Some of the typical answers you might here go like this:

    1. It's all about luck
    2. It's all about knowing the right people
    3. It's all about being young
    4. It's all about living in a city with a big music scene
    5. It's all about being in the right place at the right time.

If you agree with any of these things, then you've just identified one of the reasons why you are still struggling to get into the music industry. Fact is, NONE of the above things have anything to do with why some musicians always make it in music and so many don't.

The REAL story behind music career success comes down to understanding the ins and outs of how this industry works (and how it does NOT work), developing a strategy for success and relentlessly following it until your goals are reached.

Read this page right where I will show you 7 things you can start doing right away to grow your career in music:
