Job Description:/h3:
:Candidate will be responsible for the day:to:day project document production efforts through all phases of design and construction.
:Candidate should have strong document production leadership and experience with multifamily construction document preparation and submittals.
:Candidate will be responsible for coordinating input from Owner regarding site and architectural design and incorporating this input into the Revit model and documents.
:Work with the team to create the Revit Model and the Revit:based Construction Documents.
:Coordinate subcontractors 3D models using Navisworks.
:Manage consultant coordination including civil engineers, landscape architects, soils engineers, MEP engineers, and others in pursuit of completing entitlement applications and building permit submittals.
:Make changes or adjustments as necessary or desired, including re:drafts, and respond to and document requests for information from the field and/or subcontractors.
:Prepare early marketing graphics, brochures, material boards and other project related presentations.
:Interface with and present information to internal Optima management/staff requests, as appropriate.
:Visit construction site at regular intervals to observe the overall progress. Maintain project drawing files and archives.
:Be familiar with construction means, methods, and techniques.
:Candidate will participate in all facets of the development cycle.
Ideal Candidate
:The candidate should have a minimum 15 years of multi:family architectural experience. This person must be well:organized, self:reliant and proactive, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
:Excellent working software knowledge and proficiency including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks,, Adobe and Microsoft Office suites.
:Ability to exercise judgment and discretion, and to set priorities and manage competing demands.
:Candidate should have a thorough knowledge of building codes and accessibility standards.
:Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, government regulations, building and accessibility codes.
:Must have the ability to interpret and apply complex documents affecting real estate projects, including Entitlement documents, traffic studies, subcontractor agreements, leases, due diligence materials, title reports, ALTA surveys, and architectural drawings.
:Thorough knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles pertaining to technical plans, drawings and models.
:Bachelors Degree in Architecture or related course study required. Licensed Architect is a plus.
:Aptitude to work both independently and as a team member.
:Reliable, responsive, energetic and positive work ethic with the highest degree of integrity.
:Familiarity with design:build projects is desired.
:Prior work experience in construction and/or construction
:LEED accredited and project experience utilizing the IGCC is a plus. x200B;
