Housekeeping Aide/Custodian Responsibilities include: Come and join our Courtyard team in Scottsdale! We are located on the Mayo Clinic campus on Shea Boulevard! Mahatma Gandhi This associate is primarily responsible for the cleanliness of our public spaces, completing guest requests, assisting the housekeeping team with supplies needed, helping with our shuttle that runs exclusively between the hotel and the Mayo Clinic, sorting linens, and assisting with day-to-day activities around the hotel. As a Housekeeping Aide you are responsible for responding promptly to guest requests and request from other departments. Be able to identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms and contact correct departments for urgent repairs or guests needs. Deliver guest requests following the Courtyard by Marriott standards. Remove items from hallways such as soiled linen, trash, newspapers, service room trays, and other debris found in guest view in the hallways and bathrooms. Be responsible for cleaning guest bathroom, fitness center, and lobby areas as needed. Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment. Be able to move meeting room tables and chairs and assist with meeting room set up as needed. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors and Managers.
