Insight is seeking to hire a Managed Services Sales Engineer to proactively develop operational solutions for customers and drive Managed Services saleswithin Insight's Remote Network Operations Center.
:Provide internal and client:facing business and delivery expertise and guidance; participate in internal and external solution design reviews; validate solution approach and associated work products to ensure adherence to company and delivery guidelines. Conduct cost analysis and due diligence studies to determine feasibility of various approaches.
:Assist client in defining strategic direction for services solutions. Provide input in mapping business requirements to services solutions.
:Evaluate strengths and weaknesses of solution design, suitability; recommend solutions to ensure consistency with the company vision.
:Develop proposed solutions : Statements of Work, RFP/RFI responses, and cost modeling (perhaps in conjunction with other internal resources on complex bids), and delegating responsibilities or work efforts within the SSO team to ensure the opportunity is completed in a required time frame.
:Provides advice regarding solution questions, prerequisites, solution features, etc.
:Assists sales and delivery teams with guidance and pre:sales project management support for complex services solutions.
:Work with Regional Sales and Engineering leadership to proactively develop sales campaigns to grow Managed Services revenue.
:Present the Insight Services Catalog and Offerings to Clients
:Develop standard and custom solutions for Clients with a consultative approach.
:Create and strengthening partnerships to broaden Managed Services capabilities.
Essential Functions of the Job:
:Must be able to travel as necessary.
:Demonstrate ability to drive services sales pipeline
:Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to do some administrative work related to documentation and tracking of opportunities.
:Ability to understand and translate the client's business objectives and requirements
:Ability to understand and support the internal sales and delivery objectives and requirements
:Maintain professional relationships with teammates, partners and clients
:Self:motivator and ability to function in role without day to day supervision.
