Job Summary:
Strategic critical thinker to provide intellectual leadership for management of contracts, vendor relationships and agencies for Arizona:based K:8 charter school network. Manages execution of projects and co:creates systems, processes, projects and programs relative to marketing, communications, research, public relations, government affairs and product.
Liaise 20+ vendor relationships and manage national/regional advertisers, contract lobbyists and agencies. Monitors and answers marketing and supply:chain inquiries from school campuses; coordinates collateral creation and owns project management for marketing. Provides administrative support for Marketing department and Chief Communications Officer.
Responsibilities support the work of the
marketing/communication and HR teams to create strategic internal and external communication campaigns, produce innovative ways to engage employees that are in alignment with the companys culture, write communications, speeches and update both presentations and talking points. Collaboration with internal partners and retained consultants as needed across functions (Marketing, PR, Compliance, Legal, Operations, etc.).
This role will maintain a close working relationship with Human Resources to ensure alignment of internal messaging with external branding and media strategies. Additionally, this role cultivates CFE and Legacy Traditional Schools Employment Value Proposition and is responsible for collaborating with leadership and employees to create lasting impressions that promote CFE/Legacy as great places to work.
Essential Functions
:Create Creative Brief process and implement/teach procedures as appropriate; complete Creative Briefs for business:line owners; sponsor weekly marketing
creative/production meeting with approval/tracking process; identify resources needed
:Project manage curriculum production/text book publishing; collaborates with academic teams and SMEs to cultivate pipeline of possible projects
:Relationship owner to media:buying firm: tracking spend, deliverables and ROI :: with reports/analytics covering traditional and digital advertising
Developing/maintaining vendor, independent contractor and agency relationships (Prisma, JTI, RAK, Great Schools, PR agency and lobbying firm)
:Creating calendars for media buys and assisting with build:out of content calendars for multiple social media platforms; vetting, establishing and improving various project management tools, tracking and regular reporting of marketing spend to actual;
Invoicing/reconciling billings to schools, tracking and reporting thereof
:Locating and leveraging shared intra:departmental resources
:Liaising with parents and families to vet and begin production of student stories
:Assisting with internal and external event planning and execution
:Handling all Marketing Inbox inquiries by providing direction and completing requests
:Reconciling marketing credit card accounts and tracking digital ad spend to budget
:Maintain accurate records and files, compose and process routine reports and correspondence, track inventories of marketing collateral and sales support materials
:Coordinates and track projects.
:Organize departmental activities; plan weekly Marketing meeting agenda and provide status
:Revise and update ongoing communications and activities
:Performs other duties as assigned including lending support to other departments as needed
Minimum Qualifications
:Bachelors degree preferred in business administration, management, marketing or communications with 10 years of related experience; 2 of which include project management or any equivalent combination of experience, and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and ability have been achieved.
:Prior experience in for:profit education sector establishing brand awareness and project managing creative
institutional/regional collateral and internal/external
