Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for a Reality Capture Sales Representative
for the US, Southwest territory. Activities will be focused on developing, maintaining and managing sales opportunities for Leica Geosystems within the scanning industry in the assigned territory. Sales of static and mobile scanning solutions will be included.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

:Increase market share through the development of scanning business with new and existing customers in the region
:Assist existing customers by providing product and application training; job site demonstrations, installation scheduling, assist in field troubleshooting
:Provide input on competitive products and activities
:Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to promote growth of Leicas Reality Capture product portfolio and achieve sales targets
:Manage sales leads through to closure and monitor against approved budgets to ensure financial results are on, or ideally above, target and implement plans to counteract deviations
:Present and demonstrate Reality Capture products and associated benefits for customers and resellers
:Negotiate sales contracts and associated product supply milestones
:Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the region, industry, and in particular, customer needs and requirements
:Supervise implementation of new products and features
:Represent Leica in industry events and tradeshows and collaborate with the Marketing Communications Group
:Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts as required
:Assist in the development of sales / marketing tools and reports
:Liaise with Finance department for management of receivables

:Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
:Ability to travel as required : there is a considerable amount of travel required to fulfill this role

Position Requirements:
:Strong mechanical aptitude (must have experience with scanning applications), 2+ years of sales experience with Topcon / Trimble / Leica scanning products
:Strong written and verbal communications skills
:Frequent travel required

Education and Experience:
Our ideal candidate must have an understanding of standard survey practices. A Bachelors degree in Civil or Surveying Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred but not required. Previous experience selling high end equipment into the survey market or direct experience using laser scanning technology in survey applications is required. Familiarity with the Leica Geosystems product lines is a plus. Experience with laser scanners and survey equipment as well as a strong aptitude for sales along with excellent presentation skills are necessary.
