Assists in providing technical support for one or many products and/or product family. Responsibilities may include: participating in new product development, representing the customers technical needs, creating competitive analysis from a technical perspective, developing and presenting technical product training materials. Works with the sales team to help resolve customers technical questions, participates in customers visits, and presentations. Owns creation and maintenance of data sheets and application notes. Individuals act as technical experts, consultants, analysts, and program managers. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

The Technical Marketing Engineer develops and presents demos for trade shows around the world, works directly with high visibility customers to provide training and technical support, gives feedback to engineering on new feature requests, and develops and publishes performance analysis marketing collaterals and software application documentation. Education: Candidate should possess a Master’s Degree with at least 5 years additional experience in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with an additional degree in Marketing, with at least 5 years’ experience. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Linux, Enterprise/Cloud Environments Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Software/Script Development and Debug Additional Qualifications: Candidate must have the ability to communicate, influence, and work effectively in all levels, multiple geographies, and cross organizations Candidate must have good problem solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with customer interfacing, computer hardware setup, Caching Software, SSDs, NVMe, and Software Defined Storage desired Experience in Project Management / Product Management / Product Marketing advantage Someone with ability to communicate, influence, and work effectively in all levels, multiple geographies, and cross organizations
