Performs complex, specialized function-related administrative tasks to support the academic publishing activities of and media production for medical staff with little or no supervision, including coordinating a variety of projects and assisting in budget preparation.
Communicates with authors, team members, and publishers. Coordinates Editorial Services and Figure / Media Production. Estimates and tracks production time, priorities, and delivery dates. Receives images and video files. Reviews publication specifications. Acquires, and releases copyrights and permissions. Coordinates meetings and maintains files. Orders supplies and coordinates contract services. Creates and updates records in database. Maintains correspondence files,
Qualifications: Minimum of three years of related experience, preferred in project coordination and database entry. Minimal Education High School Diploma/GED; AA/BA/BS degree preferred. Competence with MS Office: expertise in Office and database programs preferred.
