Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned, some duties may be re:assignable based on available resources.
:The primary responsibility of the Safety Manager will be to promote and ensure a safe work environment.
:In conjunction with the Project Superintendent, the Safety Manager will enforce safety requirements to prevent accidents from occurring on the jobsite and in strict compliance with EM385:1:1.
:The Safety Manager will conduct daily and weekly safety inspections and prepare all necessary OSHA reports and forms.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
:Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Architecture and Engineering desired.
:Requires 5:10 years of Safety Manager experience in the Federal Government contracting.
:Corps of Engineers Quality Control Management experience preferred
:Army Corps of Engineers Quality Control System (QCS)
:Army Corps of Engineers RMS system
:EM385:1:1 40 Hour Hazardous Training a mustpany Description
