<Michael Jackson gave us so much of the gift that God gave him and upon his passing, the world was devastated. I loved Michael and felt like he was one of my close family members, so when he died, so young and so suddenly, I felt pain like I hadn't felt in a long time when someone passed away, but, with Michaels' passing, it really hurt deep within. I knew I loved him but, had no idea how much until he died. His life was celebrated and mourned all over the world and since Phoenix didn't do anything to pay tribute to this man as a community, I felt compelled to do it myself so here it is: Michael Jackson Tribute and Picnic will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 12:00p.m until 5:00p.m. @ Cactus Park(next to Moon Valley High School) 3801 W Cactus Rd. It's a picnic so, bring your picnic lunch. There can only be beer or wine for alcoholic beverages but no glass bottles. There will be DJ D playing all of Michaels' music, Master of Ceremony, singers, dancers, speakers, jumpers for kids, etc. This will be a wonderful tribute to a man who gave all of us so much through his music, singing and dancing. For those who loved him, come on out and spread the love and unity that Michael would be so happy to see. There is limited parking, so, if you can, please carpool.
