All Ages, Styles and Levels. Business Line (480)775-2550 Cell Phone (928)899-1886 $25 for 1/2 hour or $35 for 1 Full hour $120 for Four full hours a month (monthly payment discount) Ask me about my Pre Christmas and Family Specials (2 or more students in one location) Located in Mesa and serving within a 50 mile radius of The Greater Phoenix Area :) 5 Years of Mobile Lesson experience, 9 years Teaching experience, 18yrs music experience -Mechanics -Notation -Scale Theory -Improvisation -Rhythm/Timing -A Variety of Picking/Strumming Styles and Techniques -Creating Original Music and Playing Full Songs WELL. When we follow the proper steps, it is amazing how fast we are able to learn something so "seemingly" intimidating. The proper mechanics (the way we position our hands/posture and the instrument), rhythm/timing (division of the beat, even spacing)and presentation of feeling (the use of a variety of scales and chord positions to get ANY given feeling across) In the beginning, this is very important; Not to create, or let the beginner create, to many bad habits to Unlearn later. Well played music can come together in a reasonably short period of time with More than the minimal amount of Effort and Practice. Of course, the more the better. Considering that 10 minutes each day is 70 minutes a week, its not to unreasonable to obtain! I have worked in many bands, both as a Singer-Rhythm/Lead guitar player and as a Singer/Bass player. Here in Mesa I have a small digital recording studio that is also available for lessons I teach beginning and intermediate guitar at the Paradise Valley Community Center on Tuesday nights, currently. I have private students in Gilbert, Cave Creek, Scottsdale, Prescott, and North Phoenix. There lessons include Guitar, Bass, Drums and Piano. They range from 7yrs old to Retired Adult Beginner to Advanced. I greatly enjoy my profession and have discovered a very intuitive approach to teaching/learning. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank You for your time, Ben Bochenek Affordable Mobile Music Instruction (480)775-2550 (928)899-1886 1651 S.Dobson Rd. Hi,
My name is Gary Gordon and I've been playing around the valley for over 20 years. I've performed from one end of the spectrum to the other. I've headlined the Tempe street dance with a rock band called Dr. Ruth - I've played every other weekend at Eddie V's Restaurant for over 5 years - I play at many other private clubs in town - and I've done tons of studio work. But it's not what I've done - it's what I can DO, right? Well, I've got several keyboards and I've sequenced all my songs to sound just like they do on the radio with drums, bass, guitars, and I play keyboards along with them - and, of course, I sing. I have over a thousand songs in my repetiore and can sing in many different styles. Whether you want country, rock, blues, swing, jazz, or whatever - I am a professional and will not disappoint. I have a myspace page with some demo tunes you can listen to if you like at www.myspace.com/LogicalSolutionsEntertainment I have several different P.A. systems so I can fit pretty much any venue. You can also contact me at 602-695-5711. Pricing is based on location of gig, PA needs, length of performance, etc. Here is a sample of some of the songs I do: GARY’S SONG REQUEST LIST A Long December – Counting Crows A Town without Pity – Brian Setzer, Gene Pitney After Midnight – Eric Clapton After the Loving – Englebert Humperdink Ain’t no Sunshine – Bill Withers Ain’t Too Proud To Beg – The Temptations Ain’t that a Kick in The Head – Dean Martin Alcohol – Brad Paisley All My Exes Live in Texas – George Straight All my Rowdy Friends – Hank Williams Jr All The Way – Frank Sinatra Almost Like Being in Love – Frank Sinatra Always on my Mind – Willie Nelson Amarillo by Morning – George Straight Anything Goes – Frank Sinatra As Good I Once Was – Toby Keith Bad Case of Lovin’ You – Paul Rogers Beer in Mexico – Kenny Chesney Besame’ Mucho – Dean Martin Beyond the Sea – Frank Sinatra Blue Eyes – Elton John Blue Moon – Frank Sinatra Blue on Black – Kenny Wayne Shepherd Boogie on Reggae Woman – Stevie Wonder Boot Scootin’ Boogie – Brooks and Dunn Born to be Wild - Steppenwolf Boulevard of Broken Dreams – Green Day Break down – Tom Petty Brandy – Looking Glass Brickhouse – The Commodores Brown Eyed Girl – Van Morrison, Jimmy Buffett Burning Down the House – The Talking Heads Can You Feel the Love Tonight – Elton John Candle in the Wind – Elton John Can’t Get Enough of Your Love Babe – Barry White Can’t You See – Marshall Tucker Band Carefree Highway – Gordon Lightfoot Caroline in my Mind - James Taylor Carrying Your Love with Me – George Straight Centerfold – J. Production Company/Composer/Multiinstrumentalist needs a singing Duet or 1 Male for multigenred musical projects--stage, concerts, hotels, small to large venues, churches, etc. Very upbeat, positive and melodic music. Would love experienced Black Duet that does Gospel, Pop and acoustic. Will not discriminate of course--any color or ethic background is fine as long as you got the goods! Can also use very talented Male to join existing Female Vocalist. Musical styles include Acoustic, Jazz, Soul, Blues, Pop, Gospel, Inspirational. Music is orchestrated with strings, guitars, piano, organ, latin percussion, some horns and vocals. Prefer seasoned, mature folks, but will consider younger talented folks.

WORKING! WELL ESTABLISHED BAND! Seeks BLUES/JAZZ KEYBOARD player w piano and B3 sounds and style!
Established band, good rep, 12 years running under the same name, venues in hand, gigs booked, and more pending. We already have a rehearsal space, a great PA, 3 full sets of some “killer material” that's both interesting and challenging. in place. Strong Vocals, great guitar, and a rhythm section that’s been together since 2007… all on a silver platter! It’s simply a question of how fast you can learn the tunes. And what you’re looking for… We’re primarily a Saturday night band, (exceptions are made for the right venue) we work 2-3 shows a month on average, and special events as they come up! We do have jobs. But music is still our primary focus, second only to paying the rent! We take our sound seriously. And want you to do so as well. In this band, keys are not a side position, you’re a featured player! We're really looking for a committed player, a band mate, and that is certainly the preferred situation. Still playing in more than one band is not out of the question We would hope to become your primary concern in short order. Glen 623-581-6777 • Location: Phoenix

Other skillful musicians to start smooth jazz / R&B project (would be willing to join existing as well). Song writing, jamming, recording, etc. Influences for this kind of music: Soul Live, MMW, Meters, EWF, Wayman Tisdale, Victor Wooten, Stevie Wonder, George Benson. Would be cool to start with keys, bass, and percussion. Could add guitar, vocals, horns. If adding vocals, strong harmonies / a vocally driven format would be great!
I have a number of years of performing and recording experience, ability to write songs, do rhythm parts, lead parts, soloing. Can play piano parts, organ, strings, horn parts, etc. The goal will be high quality music, fun, sharing of ideas, hangin out, gigs when possible. Really, just making great music and exploring new possibilities! Though not critical, age 24 to 40 preferred. Brent • Location: East / North valley

In my teachings I will improve the students technique and creativity while introducing many diverse styles. We will focus specifically on the most important skills and concepts needed to be able to play proficiently and musically. This will be through the use of proper technique and providing clear information. Explanation of theory will be used to gain the facility to improvise and understand music. Scales, progressions, harmonization , and sight reading will be demonstrated and explained with the use of creative exercises.
All ages encouraged

A# Piano ServiceProfessional Piano Tuning and Repair
Why pay more than you have to? Get your piano professionally tuned foronly $75 to $85 depending on your location. You can pay a lot more, but you won't get more anywhere. I have tuned for the Herberger Theater and others who perform around the world. I offer multiple piano discounts. You may be looking to purchase and move a used piano from a private individual seller and feeling a little anxious because you're not entirely sure what to look for. I just completed a job for a school teacher who recently purchased a piano and almost all the bass tuning pins were to lose to hold a tuning. Because of this she paid at least $100 more than the piano was worth and incurred additional repair costs also. If she hired a technician to assess the piano before hand she would have saved considerable time, money and aggravation. In most cases I can come out and assess a piano for you for $60 or less. In many cases this will also save you time, money and aggravation. The pictured piano is a Gulbransen console that has been refinished and completely serviced. I reshaped all the hammers, regulated the let-off and lost motion and will guarantee parts and labor for 1 full year. I'm asking $1000.00 tuned and delivered and with a padded bench which wholesale costs me $130. With the cost of moving, tuning and misc. service at about $300 to $400 you are getting a like new piano with a 1 year guarantee for about $600. Ask around and you'll find that the cost of refinishing for a piano this size is about $1000 or more. You can take a chance with unknown factors and potential problems or go with like new piano and a guarantee of no problems. You can reach me at 602-909-9409. Ask for Jim.
