Power Steering is the host band at Gavilin Peak Sports Bar every Wednesday night and we promise you stage time if you bring your guitar, bass, keys, vocals, harp, or any other instrument. Bring your whole band or come and play as a solo artist. If you have originals you want to try with a band we will back you up.

Gavilin Peak has great food and drink for you to enjoy while other musicians are doing their thing. Power Steering is made up of guitar, bass and drums and we are experienced enough to back you in rock, classic rock, southern rock, blues, jazz, pop or whatever you musical preference is.

KMATBS seeks vocalist/ guitarist (Male or Female) for classic/ current cover band to complete our line-up. We are looking for a singer with rhythm or lead guitar abilities (at least at an intermediate level of playing ability) that can harmonize vocally on all the songs we cover in our set list. Currently each member of our band sings lead and harmony. Everyone is expected to share the “vocal” load at gigs, which makes our band somewhat unique to the Phoenix metro area. We are also looking for a personable band mate who shares in all facets of the working band environment, including booking, promoting, expenses, and set-up before gigs. We have a rehearsal studio to accommodate practice for the band in a central location currently but we will be practicing in Queen Creek on weekends. Please have little or no vices which affect your performance onstage, while being realistic at the same time that we’re not all saints. KMATBS is a turn key operation with full PA, Lights, Effects, and sound and light Tech to put on a professional quality show, in which we try to put on the best show in town to rival larger acts. I am a drummer and I have a kick ass bassist. We are looking for other LGBT musicians to form a Country Music band with influences like Sugarland, Lady Antebellum, Gretchen Wilson, Zac Brown Band, Lost Trailers and many more.

Some experience preferred but if you have real talent we can overlook the lack of experience. I have played the rock club scenes in the past for over ten years. This project does not require a huge commitment other than maybe one day a week.
